Welcome To 2008

Finally, the last day of 2007 has come. After I substituted my colleague's class, I went straight toward the train station and hopped on the nearest train which led to Tainan. I had my late dinner in a small cozy restaurant with a group of friends. It's always nice to be with them, I can hear so many things from them which I don't know or never thought about. It's much more different from classmates' chatting.

We arrived Kaohsiung by midnight, the stage was already crowded with people around. Not being able to go near the stage, we stood far away from it, also crowded. The fireworks show didn't seem less splendid because of the distance, instead, we could see the whole view. Colorful sparks scattered into the sky after the explosion. One of my friends named it as a perfect moment, and we all agree with him. I was expecting the sunrise at the lighthouse in Chijing, but it would take at least 5 hours before the sun rose, so I closed my eyes and decided to rest until my friend drove to
Chijing. However, I noticed the scenery around was very familiar when I opened my eyes the next time. We were back to my school! They had canceled the trip seeing the sunrise earlier and forgot to tell me. Anyway, although I was a little disappointed at not seeing the first sunrise in 2008, I had an extremely sound sleep that night.
