【Snobbish】

I find people are sometimes snobbish even we don't think we are behaving like that. Take me as an example, when I am taking pictures, I would rather ask those who look better than other plain ones. A photographer told me that he has the same thought as I do, and most of his friends agree with him, too. Amazed, I mentioned it while I had dinner with a girl, who had once been our model. She was not surprised hearing what I said, instead, she said it is not only I have this kind of thought. If it is true, maybe being snobbish is not a bad thing, but showing our human nature.

I'm not so sure that you are using the right word as the title and topic of your post. I usually think of snobbish people as those who thin they're better than others. They are, therefore, often rude to those they consider their inferiors, or they insist "only the best is good enough for us" when the differences between A and B aren't worth discussing.

Wanting to take pictures of more rather than less beautiful people is only human nature, I think. Everyone prefers to look at what and whom they consider beautiful rather than what and whom they consider plain or ugly.

Take a look at Survival of the Prettiest: The Science of Beauty by Nancy Etcoff, who "argues persuasively that looking good has survival value, and that sensitivity to beauty is a biological adaptation governed by brain circuits shaped by natural selection". In other words, the human love of beauty is part of human nature, as you conclude.

You have a comma splice in this post. Can you find it?

Maybe you can change the word "snobbish" to "discriminating", which is, I'm convinced, a better and more accurate adjective in this case.
